James is licensed as a CPA in both Missouri and Illinois. James has been a CPA for sixteen years. During that time he earned his MBA on nights and weekends.

I have worked with several CPAs for the non-profits that I volunteer for. I have used several CPAs who were always very formal and difficult to work with on tight timelines. I was skeptical with working with someone across the country, but James is different than all the ones I have worked with before. I initially hired him for one non-profit and now he is helping me with three! He is available when needed and turns things around very quickly. This was my first time using an accountant because I finally have too much going on to continue trying to do it myself on TurboTax. I’ve never met him in person, but I had an amazing experience with James. He was very clear on exactly what he needed from me, and was done with everything within days. He is extremely communicative and explains everything thoroughly so you always know what’s going on. He's always just a quick email or phone call away. I would recommend him to anyone!

I am very pleased with the work James provides. I’ve never met him in person and we have a fairly complicated tax process that he understood without a lot of questions, etc. which is rare in today’s accounting world. He seems to have an intuition that most CPAs do not have. His timeliness is unmatched. I’ve never had the work turned around as quick as this.

I’ve recently found myself on the volunteer board of 4 different on-profits with various record keeping abilities, all needing things done to get on track and for one of them, to get their non-profit status back after not filing tax forms in 5 years. I tried working with a local accountant and struggled to plan ahead enough to match their schedule and get appointments with them weeks in advance. I put in a request through Ageras and hired James because it was straightforward and has clear pricing. After working with him on 1 non-profit account, it was easy to bring the other 3 to him. Since working with him, I have found he is kind, approachable, and attentive. He communicated clearly and often. He has made sure that everything we do meets the needs for the State as well as Federal filings. I was worried that with him being in a different state (and time zone!) he wouldn’t be able to help us with the local stuff, but he has been on top of all of it. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

I put a job request out on Ageras and James was the most-straightforward bidder. He went above and beyond on the somewhat complicated case I had and is always clear about pricing. I appreciated his time and attentiveness so much that I actually ended up bringing two more non-profits to him to assist with. I feel like we get straight talk, fair prices and he communicates so clearly and easily. Not only do I plan to keep him on board with the three non-profits I'm working with, but I would also hire him again in a heartbeat.

James is very easy to communicate with and does a great job explaining things if I am having trouble understanding. His work has been very clean, and in many cases faster than I anticipated. I don't plan on going anywhere else for financial/tax services or advice anytime soon.
